The 2nd edition of the nanoPT Online conference (NPTO2021) will present the most recent advances in fundamental research & technology developments in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (N&N). This event is launched following the success of the previous edition last year and to provide as well, in particular, a clear vision of the current situation in this sector in Portugal.
NPTO2021 will therefore be held with the purpose of strengthen ties nationally and internationally on Nanotechnology and will encourage companies and public institutions working on the Nanotechnology field to know each other and to present their research.
More than 20 high profile talks from worldwide most influential academia/industry experts in the N&N sector will present speeches in this international event on how advanced materials will change the future of technology and impact positively our daily life in sectors such as Energy, Electronics or Biohealth

The Phantoms Foundation based in Madrid, Spain, focuses its activities on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (N&N) and is now a key actor in structuring and fostering European Excellence and enhancing collaborations in these fields. The Phantoms Foundation, a non-profit organisation, gives high level management profile to National and European scientific projects (Involved in 11 European projects in the last 10 years either as coordinator or partner) and provides an innovative platform for dissemination, transfer and transformation of basic nanoscience knowledge, strengthening interdisciplinary research in nanoscience and nanotechnology and catalysing collaboration among international research groups.
Currently, one of the main core activities is to organize International conferences, meetings and workshops in particular in the “Graphene and 2D Materials” area:

The INL International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, located in Braga (North of Portugal) was founded by the governments of Portugal and Spain under an international legal framework to perform interdisciplinary research, deploy and articulate nanotechnology for the benefit of society. INL aims to become the world-wide hub for nanotechnology addressing society’s grand challenges.

The Research and Technology activities are focused on six clusters: Health, Food, Energy, Environment, ICT and Future Emerging Technologies, which complement each other and provide a base for interdisciplinary interactions between our research.
The full-fledged nanotechnology laboratory enables leading research of the highest international standard.

The mission of the Center of Physics of the University of Minho (CFUM) is to conduct scientific research in Pure and Applied Physics and related areas as well as the training of post-graduate students. In the context of its research the Center of Physics develops all the efforts to produce cutting edge scientific knowledge. The Center of Physics is engaged in developing applications of its research results and seeks to strengthen its present cooperation as well as to establish new links with industrial partners.
